Responsible for the financial data analytic needs of the organization.
Use a combination of financial analysis tools and techniques and data analysis tools to generate, analyze, report, and interpret financial and other data used across the organization.
Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.
Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately.
Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to senior management.
Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers, and user acceptance testing of various systems.
Diagnose problems and identify opportunities for process redesign and improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies and standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
2+ years of statistical or data analysis experience.
Experience with financial analysis focused on month end close, government reporting, and financial forecasting.
Experience writing SQL queries is highly preferred.
Healthcare or managed care data analytics experience is preferred.
Strong process documentation skillset preferred.
Candidate must live near Long Island City, NY and attend occasional office meetings in Long Island City, NY office.
