Responsible for driving the product performance function for assigned products, across multiple lines of business
Oversee the review of product performance, the analysis of performance of products, the coordination of product improvement initiatives, and the preparation of executive leadership for regular interactions with key regulators across the state
Works with other leaders within Product Performance function to set the strategic vision and establish core goals for the for the Product Performance department
Monitors and manages commercial product portfolio performance for the segment(s), refreshes strategy and puts in place improvement measures as needed to achieve financial plan targets
Support and execute strategies to manage cost structure and deliver competitively priced and compliant products to improve profit and loss statement performance, including tracking programs to manage medical costs, unit costs, and selling costs
Support and collaborate with cross-functional leadership team to define and execute strategic priorities to ensure success of product
Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with corporate leadership team and health plan leaders
Evaluate enhancements to products to assess how they support strategic plan, membership enrollment and retention targets
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Sales, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience required
6+ years of experience leveraging analysis to develop and manage initiatives to improve financial performance required
Experience in healthcare administration and/or managed care including, but not limited to, health plan, provider, or health systems preferred
Ideal candidate to have an understanding of healthcare product development, launch and optimization
Experience working with cross functional teams like sales, marketing, operations, finance, IT, etc.
3+ years of supervisory/management experience required
The ability to travel up to 10% of the time including out of state and overnight travel.
