About the role
- Acts as a thought partner to the executive leadership team, providing vision, strategy, and operational leadership in support of organizational culture, strategic priorities, and vendor governance functions.
- Serves as a trusted confidant and advisor, overseeing high-level projects and initiatives, particularly focused on the execution of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Plan, track, and monitor the progress of key priorities and strategic initiatives for the leadership team.
- Assist leadership teams with strategy development, strategic planning, and financial and vendor management planning.
- Partner with key stakeholders to prioritize business needs and initiatives.
- Navigate formal and informal organizational channels, influencing across all levels and divisions.
- Manage critical aspects of deliverables, including drafting correspondence and other tasks to facilitate effective execution of top priorities.
- Manage communications on behalf of the leadership team.
- Prepare documents for internal and external audiences, including compelling presentations for company-wide meetings and external speaking engagements.
- Provide vendor governance including all financial, technology, RFPs, rate setting and operational processes.
- Identify risks and opportunities associated with future profitability and member retention.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in business, communications or related field or equivalent experience required.
- Master's Degree in a related field preferred.
- 10+ years management experience
- 10+ years of experience in communications, health plan operations and strategy, change management, project management, or vendor management required.
- Prior experience in healthcare or large-scale service industry required.
- Experience supporting executive level management and driving interdepartmental collaboration required.
- Leadership experience and skills required.
- Experience with accounting practices, state reporting requirements, and rate setting activities preferred.
