Manages the technical approach and decisions as it relates to the configuration of software and infrastructure services on the cloud platform.
Manages cloud infrastructure as code.
Automates deployment and administration.
Develops plan to ensure security of cloud components.
Partners with the DevOps team to spearhead and lead upgrades, enhancements, and software migrations.
Leads projects and teams of cloud engineers who build and support the administration of cloud-based environments.
Establishes and develops code-based CI/CD deployment standards and best-practices.
Leads and directs the implementation of monitoring solutions for cloud environments.
Articulates platform infrastructure best practices based on expert knowledge.
Mentors and impacts operational and build teams to construct testing and implementation strategies.
Ensures execution and completion of capacity plans.
Leads the development and implementation of design, build, and deploy cloud applications.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science)
6 – 8 years of related experience.
One or more of the following skills are desired: Deep knowledge of cloud virtualization and compute technologies. AWS EC2 & Lambda, Kubernetes System Engineering
