About the role
- Help design and lead an effective vendor management program with integrated business continuity strategies
- Develop strong relationships and regularly assess risks to enhance the resilience of the Centene business in the face of potential disruptions
- Ensure vendor contingency plans are in place and identify potential risks that could impact our business if the vendor couldn’t meet the SLA’s
- Conduct vendor audits to ensure compliance with the agreed-upon business continuity requirements
- Develop and execute corrective action and remediation plans for identified issues, risks, or vulnerabilities
- Foster a collaborative relationship with vendors by sharing relevant business continuity information and best practices
- Review and revise current vendor management processes to improve efficiency and adoption where appropriate
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience required in business continuity or vendor management functions
