About the role
- Play a key role in the design, deployment, upgrade, and support of our enterprise Citrix environment
- Ensure high availability, performance, and secure access for virtual applications and desktops across a hybrid infrastructure
- Define system and product requirements and generate software/hardware performance and reliability specifications and requirements
- Lead the evaluation, design, and integration of all enhancements or new releases of the system
- Lead the enhancement of processes, procedures, and policies relating to systems functioning and performance
- Meet with management team of multiple functional areas and vendors on the planning, upgrading, testing, securing, and servicing of IT solutions
- Design and implement architecturally compliant system landscapes
- Develop, modify, test, implement, document, and maintain systems software and hardware
- Troubleshoot and resolve server, operating system, and other infrastructure problems
- Monitor systems and networks for viruses, malfunctions, and errors
- Prepare network analytics, data reports, and operational manuals
- Perform troubleshooting and remediation, ensure successful project implementation, and perform post project end user support
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation
- Train the engineering team on new systems, protocols, and best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science)
- Requires 4 – 6 years of related experience
- Citrix & Virtualization: Deploy and manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) – both on-premises and in Citrix Cloud
- Maintain and optimize Citrix Cloud Connectors for high availability and performance
- Configure and troubleshoot Federated Authentication Services (FAS) for certificate-based SSO
- Manage Citrix NetScaler (ADC) for secure remote access and load balancing
- Utilize Citrix Director/Monitor for session monitoring and performance tuning
- Experience with Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) for efficient image streaming and management
- Experience with Machine Creation Services (MCS)
- Experience working with Citrix XenServer (or Citrix Hypervisor)
- Experience with supporting SAML 2.0 authentication with Identity Providers and multi-factor authentication (MFA)
- Manage SSL certificates and secure configuration of Citrix components
- Administer Ivanti User Workspace Manager for user personalization and policy management
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and Windows Server OS
- Experience with cloud-first and hybrid environments, particularly Microsoft Azure
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Citrix PowerShell SDK
- Create and maintain infrastructure documentation aligned with audit and compliance
- Provide technical support and serve as a subject matter expert for Citrix-related incidents and escalations
