About the role
- Execute product purchases, negotiating and meeting company-defined prices and performing daily market price quotations;
- Negotiate and implement general/framework agreements with key suppliers;
- Identify and develop new product and service suppliers;
- Maintain pricing tables reflecting cost variations and the competitiveness of identical items in the operating market;
- Plan and define media channels — flyers, newspapers, TV, radio — and point-of-sale (POS) activities;
- Negotiate promotional offers and promotional investments;
- Monitor orders to ensure delivery within established deadlines;
- Assess the quality and reliability of product manufacturers to be purchased;
- Prepare and analyze supplier comparison charts with proposals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree;
- Knowledge and experience in negotiating dry grocery categories in food retail;
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills;
- Knowledge of SAP;
