The Strategic Lending Partnerships (SLP) Card Product Manager is responsible for implementing, managing, and coordinating operations related to the Bank’s fintech card programs, including implementation, integrations, reporting, relationship management, evaluation of opportunities, and ongoing oversight of programs.
Coordinate and manage the implementation of new card programs with card networks, fintech partners, and processors.
Develop processes and procedures to collect, maintain and continually update necessary documentation for existing card programs.
Develop processes and procedures for managing, tracking, and executing required initiatives from card networks.
Serve as subject-matter expert within the bank on card products, trends, developments, and opportunities.
Interact with Compliance and other bank departments and third-party resources for oversight, product testing, and monitoring of bank-sponsored card programs.
Prepare product-level performance and tracking reports on a monthly basis.
Coordinate and manage billing and invoicing of applicable network fees with the bank’s accounting functions.
Manage resolution and reporting of customer complaints related to the bank’s card programs with Compliance, card networks, and Strategic Partners.
Support bank management during regulatory exams or internal audits.
Engage in research, ongoing training, and industry engagement to maintain card industry knowledge and source technologies to drive efficiencies and oversight capabilities.
Participate in special projects and new bank initiatives as needed.
Physical/other requirements: work in a professional office environment using standard office equipment; occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 10 pounds); occasional movement between work sites; regular communication in fluent English.
Work model: fully onsite or hybrid; Utah-based employees eligible for hybrid after initial training, and may be required to travel to Salt Lake City office for meetings or events.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of consumer and/or commercial financing experience primarily focused on operations of consumer and commercial private-label or bank card products. Experience working with a card processor is a plus.
Proficiency in card network systems such as MC Connect and Visa Online is highly desired.
Assertive self-starter, with exceptional professional verbal/written skills, who is highly organized and able to work independently to finish assigned projects.
Good interpersonal skills including the ability to work well in a team or on an individual basis.
Proven experience in project management, specifically related to card products.
Knowledge of the current banking regulatory environment and card network rules.
Excellent ability to analyze complex issues and identify suitable solutions.
Ability to interface effectively with other departments and operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Ability to recognize and focus on critical issues. Flexibility to balance and respond to competing needs within the organization.
