About the role

  • Install, maintain, upgrade, and continuously improve the site's operating environment
  • Ensure the ongoing reliability, performance and security of the infrastructure
  • Monitor and keep the operating environments
  • Respond to incidents & problems
  • Deploy new technologies as well as design, install, configure, maintain and perform testing of PC/server operating systems, networks, and related utilities and hardware
  • Troubleshoot problems as reported by users
  • Support Web access and telephony services
  • Acquire, replace, and decommission related equipment, software and services

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of related experience
  • Experience in similar job roles
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication (both oral and written) and documentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the Windows OS (server and client) and the desktop operating environment
  • Linux and other mainstream OS knowledge will be helpful
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts
  • Good knowledge of infrastructure service management & diagnostic tools and processes
  • Good knowledge of end-point security management tools and processes
  • Bachelor's Degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
