About the role

  • Develop new electrical systems/circuits for various applications
  • Research system ideas and draw up plans and specifications
  • Test, simulate, validate and qualify systems
  • Provide support throughout manufacturing

Requirements

  • 4+ years in power electronics engineering
  • Considered a Subject Matter Expert in the area of power design
  • Deep knowledge of DC/DC power topologies and tradeoffs
  • Experienced in designing power systems for networking, compute, or storage products
  • Experienced in high current, high-phase count designs for ASICs and GPUs
  • Experienced in PCB stack-up, power planes, and tools used to simulate voltage gradients
  • Familiarity with schematic capture and CAD layout tools
  • Proficient with circuit simulation tools such as PSPICE and LTSPICE
  • Knowledge of high-density power modules and Vertical Power Delivery
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to present to various audiences effectively
