Develop and implement SMT manufacturing applications and programs (Pick-and-Place, AOI, SPI) to support new customer product introductions (NPI).
Define and troubleshoot process problems that lead to throughput or quality issues.
Perform thermal profiling of reflow ovens to ensure solder joint integrity and compliance with IPC standards.
Monitor and analyze process data (First Pass Yield, DPMO) to identify trends and implement solutions to stabilize and improve processes.
Support the evaluation of new SMT equipment, coordinate software/hardware upgrades, and assist in setting equipment specifications.
Collaborate with design teams to provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback to reduce costs and improve reliability.
Support the development and updating of assembly work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

Entry level: 0-2 years of experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
