About the role
- Partners with the Site General Manager and their staff to develop & implement strategic HR initiatives
- Provides advice, counsel, direction & training to the management team on business issues
- Collaborates with recruiting team/Talent Acquisition to support hiring requirements
- Implements & directs staffing strategies to attract & retain high caliber talent
- Ensures consistent application of policies/procedures for recruiting, rewarding, retaining & developing people
- Provides employee relations consultation services to site leadership team & employees
- Develops, recommends, implements & maintains performance management programs
- Conducts internal investigations of acts of employee misconduct
- Represents site in charges of violating regulation or law
- Partners with site senior management team to implement organizational change interventions
Requirements
- 7-10 years of HR experience
- 3-5 years as a site HR Manager / Business Partner
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ITAR clearance required
- In-depth knowledge of government regulations
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor laws and EEOC compliance
- Strong organizational development, leadership development, facilitation, internal consulting skills
- Extensive experience partnering with recruitment/Talent Acquisition teams both onsite and offsite
- Extensive knowledge of World Class Manufacturing processes and Six Sigma strategies
- Strong Project Management skills
