About the role

  • Enjoy a stimulating and challenging work environment with opportunities to develop skills, while working in a highly motivated team
  • Involvement with design/development of IT processes and controls as well as Information Security practices
  • Assist in the gathering of requirements for IT application projects - includes collecting and analyzing existing documentation, reviewing with Subject Matter Experts & writing specification documents
  • Perform routine management/reporting tasks as they relate to the portfolio of applications under our control
  • Participate in IT application projects and monitor activities of IT projects related to IT applications

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a University Internship program completing 3rd year of a 3- or 4-year Computer Science or Business Technology Management program
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Basic knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Basic knowledge of the IT industry
  • Familiarity with Project Management techniques
  • Knowledge of IT Security and cyber-security
  • Some knowledge of IT processes, tools, programs
  • Some degree of experience with programming
  • Flexible team player with an eagerness to learn.
