The Epic Clarity Analyst/SQL Developer works with end-user requests to detail moderately to sophisticated business requirements
Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business/clinical needs
Produces data sets, reports, dashboards, etc.
Conducts data analysis in support of various analytic solutions
Writes moderately sophisticated structured Query Language (SQL) codes and queries
Analyzes complex problems and issues using data from internal and external sources
Demonstrates strong understanding of report analysis and development
Provides sophisticated report and data analysis with the help of team members, vendors, and/or other EIS department contacts
Manages testing projects as necessary
Contributes to strategy discussions by proactively identifying options with associated pros and cons

Requirements

Three (3) plus years’ experience with SQL
Demonstrated ability with a range of query tools such as Python, R, Oracle, SAS, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Microsoft SQL, Tableau
Developing Epic Tapestry Clarity reports preferred
Hands on experience performing reporting analysis and developing custom reports
Familiarity with databases used in patient care, administrative applications for hospitals, and data warehousing technology
Experience analyzing basic to moderately sophisticated Clarity report requests, Reporting Workbench and Radar build requests
Demonstrated understanding of healthcare applications as well as the needs and priorities of patient care providers
Technical proficiency in Reporting Workbench and Radar build
