About the role
- Sells and promotes Cedars-Sinai Services, Programs and Physicians by organizing offsite presentations, making cold calls, warm calls and scheduling face-to-face office visits with the objective of raising awareness about Cedars-Sinai services and programs to increase referrals.
- Serves as the account lead for referring entities, tailors sales strategies and approaches based on client needs, and acts as a liaison between the account/referring entities and Service Lines/specialty areas.
- Keeps abreast of new programs and services offered by each Service Line. Communicates all needs from referral sources to appropriate CSMC/CSMF entities in a timely manner.
- Effectively handles referral related issues and problem solves based on needs, including resolving claims and service issues.
- Collaborates with the Managed Care team, referring entities and health plans to initiate or recommend new components for existing contracts in addition to LOA’s and MOU’s.
- Participates in team discussions to identify where there are opportunities to leverage relationships and streamline approaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, marketing, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of healthcare industry sales experience. Must understand healthcare reimbursement and contracting.
- The clinical focus areas for this role are Neurosciences, GI, and Cancer, so experience in those areas is a plus.
- Ability to call regularly on clients in eastern and southern Los Angeles County regularly and to occasional regional visits.
