About the role
- The Senior Art Director works on projects that span the Cedars-Sinai brand, from 30 second spots to breakthrough web experiences, shaping design strategy and brand identity.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with Marketing and Communications and external partners to manage priorities, workflows and assets.
- Creative Studio – partners with copywriters to develop digital content and campaigns; leads art direction and design of marketing campaigns; crafts design strategy; maintains design quality and brand identity.
- Creates standard of visual excellence; stays ahead of design trends; integrates advancements into team's work to stand out in the industry.
- External Communications – Edits cleanly produced, accurate news video stories; provides video support, training and mentorship.
Requirements
- Five (5) plus years of experience in writing, editing, developing, and delivering in-depth content or related communications.
- Outstanding writing and research skills; ability to ensure accuracy and avoid errors, including spelling, grammar, usage, logic, design and layout.
- External Communications - Proven ability to deliver focused, on-target video. Exceptional video writing and production skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Design, Art, Advertising, or a related field.
