About the role

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in customer environments
  • Provide thorough ticket updates and knowledge articles
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs or replacements
  • Monitor customer environments for optimal performance
  • Respond to alerts and escalate as needed
  • Maintain knowledge sessions for operational teams
  • Follow ITIL practices (incident, problem, change management)
  • Participate in the weekly change process
  • Document and update technical procedures
  • Work closely with internal partners to resolve client issues

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with infrastructure support
  • 5+ years of experience with networking fundamentals and advanced troubleshooting
  • Experience with ticketing and monitoring systems
  • Thorough understanding of TCP/IP and networking fundamentals
  • Implementation experience configuring routers and switches (Cisco, Brocade)
  • Hands-on experience with firewall products (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco)
  • Experience with security technologies (IPSec/SSL VPN’s, IDS/IPS, UTM, WAF)
  • Network Management experience (Syslog, SNMP)
  • Experience with SD-WAN technologies (Meraki, Viptella, CloudGenix, Fortinet)
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and analytics skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • After-hours and on-call rotation availability
  • Bilingual – English and French (nice-to-have)
