About the role
- Manage multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Oversee field operations, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and manpower
- Ensure work complies with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and QA/safety standards
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, cost controls, forecasting, and change orders
- Drive project profitability and identify opportunities for value engineering and efficiencies
- Prepare and present monthly cost reports and financial forecasts
- Coordinate material takeoffs and procurement with field leadership and purchasing
- Attend jobsite meetings, GC/owner meetings, and customer events as required
- Administer contracts, including RFIs, submittals, ASIs, RFQs, and change management
- Monitor staffing levels, resource allocation, and field productivity
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for project teams
Requirements
- 3–5 years of project management experience in commercial specialty interiors construction
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, including contracts, drawings, schedules, and specifications
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong multitasking and time-management abilities
