About the role

  • Do you enjoy working within a fast-paced challenging environment, with opportunities to grow?
  • We are looking for a Business Analyst who will work as part of our agile cross-functional software engineering teams.
  • A passionate and enthusiastic forward thinker, you will work closely with Product Owners, analysts, and software engineering teams to identify and analyse business requirements and support application and process changes through the delivery lifecycle.
  • As part of a growing community of practice you will receive coaching and mentoring from other team members and there will be numerous opportunities to expand and increase your skills within an Analyst role.

Requirements

  • Elicit and document business requirements, writing user stories and working with the product owner to ensure that there is a prioritised backlog of work.
  • Participate in defining and proposing solutions to business problems.
  • Proactively demonstrates a willingness to learn and increase their knowledge of CDL's family of products.
  • Ability to state a problem formally, concisely, and clearly to then help derive a solution.
  • Collaborate and actively contribute to Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, planning sessions and retrospectives.
  • Produce documentation including diagrams using relevant diagramming tools.
  • Understanding the software development lifecycle
  • Experience of working in cross functional teams
  • Confidence when using JIRA.
  • Familiarity with AWS Cloud Solutions
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, experience in serverless architecture, insurance industry experience.
