About the role

  • The New Patient Consultant plays a vital role to the success of CCRM Fertility’s network.
  • As the first point of contact for the majority of the Network’s potential new patients, this position is critical in setting the tone for the new patient experience.
  • The New Patient Consultant is responsible for assisting new patients in initiating their CCRM Fertility journey, understanding their options, and ensuring a seamless transition into care.
  • This role will serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, providing information on the physicians and the CCRM patient experience, and registering patients into the electronic medical record system.
  • The New Patient Consultant will report to the Practice Administrator.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Answer incoming calls with the ultimate goal of aiding the patient in scheduling a new patient appointment.
  • Communicate information regarding CCRM’s physicians, services, and successes to the potential patient.
  • Obtain necessary information from the patient including referral source, reason for appointment, demographic information for both patient, spouse, or partner, and insurance information for both.
  • Work in EMR-system to ensure all patient data is promptly inputted and remains up-to-date.
  • Send consent forms via DocuSign to both patient, spouse, or partner.
  • Contact potential patients who have submitted their contact information via CCRM’s website.
  • Communicate with physicians, clinical/front office staff, and other departments as needed to address patient questions, concerns, and other circumstances.
  • Maintain and track internal forms and spreadsheets as directed by supervisor.
  • Attend all staff meetings and in-service meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year experience in large volume inbound call center preferred
  • 1+ year experience in healthcare field preferred.
