About the role
- Recruit job applicants to fill hourly, classified, professional, and technical job openings
- Source potential candidates from various online channels
- Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates
- Review resumes/applications and interviews candidates for all open positions
- Take responsibility for matching staff with existing client needs
- Maintain a database to track applicants and the placement of staff on cases
- Attend college and community job fairs to fill recruitment pipeline
- Perform educational credentialing to verify the veracity of application materials
- Conduct new hire sign-in to orient new staff to organizational policy and procedure
- Maintain employee recognition programs
- Collect and analyzes hiring data to ensure compliance with employment laws
- Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs
Requirements
- Must have at least 1 year of related recruitment experience
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
- Experience with sourcing techniques
- Understanding of referral programs
- Strong organizational approach with attention to detail
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Sound judgement
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance (employer paid)
