About the role
- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks and bookkeeping entries
- Process and record revenue transactions
- Process supplier invoices and intra-group charges
- Handle month-end postings such as prepayments, accruals and depreciation
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assisting the Manager with liaising with internal and external auditors
- Assisting in the preparation of Vat Returns
- Assisting in documenting and updating internal process and procedures
- Prepare and review annual, semi-annual financial statements in preparation for Annual and half yearly financial statements
- Assisting in any other ad-hoc reporting as it may be required
Requirements
- Hold an accounting qualification or be in the final stages of ACCA certification
- 2+ Years of experience in Finance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong expertise in Excel
- Previous work experience within a similar role or industry will be considered an asset
- Strong analytical and accounting skills
- Be highly organized, proactive, and able to work on own initiative
- Have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a dynamic environment
- Be able to work under pressure to meet tight reporting deadlines
- Present a friendly, outgoing and positive attitude
