About the role

  • This position is responsible for incident resolution and request handling within the datacenter network and security infrastructure scope.
  • Responsibilities include installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, monitoring, capacity management and maintenance of switches, routers, firewalls, NAC, load balancers, web application firewalls, proxies, DNS and VPN connectivity.
  • Monitoring and incident/problem resolution of security equipment.
  • Instructs users to help prevent recurring incidents/problems.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of developments in the data communications field.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of proven experience in a role combining network engineering and cybersecurity.
  • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and communication systems.
  • Experience with fiber optics and network peripherals.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking.
  • Hands-on experience with VLAN configuration and management; routing protocols (MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP); Cisco IOS (ACI is considered an asset).
  • Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security best practices.
  • Familiarity with syslogs and monitoring tools.
  • Fluent French is mandatory; a solid level of technical English is required.
