About the role

  • Act as a subject matter expert in FX and US Treasuries market structure, trading systems, and competitive landscape
  • Use expertise to clearly identify and define business risks and opportunities
  • Lead the design and implementation of product features and enhancements including pre-trade and post-trade aspects
  • Work collaboratively with the business team, prospective clients, vendors, legal, software engineering and operations teams throughout the design and development process to ensure the shortest path to production
  • Define detailed business requirements that clearly and precisely define the expected system behaviors
  • Develop pricing proposals for the FX/UST product suite
  • Perform walk-throughs of the business requirements to ensure internal teams understand the expected system behaviors
  • Assist in client and vendor onboarding
  • Assist Sales, Marketing and Communication teams in promoting the FX and platforms, both internally and externally

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience in a comparable field
  • 10+ years of total work experience with 5+ years in a Product Management role in the Financial Services industry
  • Experience in FX, rates, Fixed Income, or electronic trading
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results with an attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work independently within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, writing and communication skills
  • Solid presentation skills
