About the role

  • Acts as the lead technical analyst for SQL-based applications, vendor applications, data integrations and data centric troubleshooting.
  • Lead vendor engagements: solution evaluation, SOW/estimate reviews, delivery oversight, and release calendars.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale cloud migrations of vendor-managed systems, including establishing locally replicated databases, implementing vendor integrations, and enabling downstream integrations with enterprise applications.
  • Design and implement robust SQL data models, stored procedures, functions, and performance-optimized queries. Diagnose and resolve data and performance issues in SQL/T–SQL: queries, stored procedures, indexing, and locks/blocking.
  • Develop, maintain and support SSIS (or equivalent) packages; remediate failed loads, handle partial-load recoveries, and validate data integrity.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and complex queries to support Finance, Accounting, and Operations; validate reconciliations and close processes.
  • Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze issues, and deliver enhancements.
  • Support finance-related applications with understanding of GL, AP, AR, and related processes.
  • Coordinate with vendors on application upgrades and patches, scheduling and execution, user acceptance testing (UAT), communication and release planning.
  • Lead and Execute change management aligned with ITSM: ensure proper approvals, segregation of duties, and deployment evidence. Build and enforce CI/CD pipelines, and environmental promotion aligned to ITSM change control.
  • Maintain high-quality technical documentation: data mappings, lineage, interface contracts, runbooks, and release notes.
  • Lead incident response, triage, and resolution; coordinate war rooms; ensure clear communications and timely stakeholder updates.
  • Own SOX/ITGC-aligned controls for change management, access management, and data integrity; produce audit evidence and respond to quarterly/monthly requests.
