About the role

  • Serve as the primary technical analyst for SQL-based applications, data integrations and data centric troubleshooting
  • Design, analyze, and optimize SQL data models, stored procedures, and ETL processes
  • Develop and maintain SSIS packages for data integration and transformation
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis and complex SQL queries to support business needs
  • Debug, enhance, and optimize existing SQL code written by internal teams or vendors
  • Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze issues, and deliver enhancements
  • Support finance-related applications with understanding of GL, AP, AR, and related processes
  • Perform data maintenance, identify root causes of data issues, and coordinate fixes with the business and vendors
  • Coordinate with vendors on application upgrades and patches, scheduling and execution, user acceptance testing (UAT), communication and release planning
  • Lead and execute change management activities using ITSM methodologies
  • Manage user access and security for vendor systems
  • Respond to SOX audit requests and support quarterly/monthly audit submissions
  • Provide ongoing production support for SQL, integrations, and vendor applications

Requirements

  • College Degree or equivalent
  • 6 years related experience
  • Expert technical knowledge
  • Knowledge of industry regulations
  • Ability to lead and coordinate the team activities of others
  • Ability to formulate, document and recommend new policies and procedures
  • Able to work in and lead a team
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
  • Ability to travel as required by business and on-call availability
