About the role
- Provide research and comparative analysis of accounting data
- Compile and maintain financial records such as journals, ledgers
- Design and maintain workflow for gathering and analyzing data
- Make all entries as required in proper software application
- Assist with documentation for auditing purposes
- Operate computer programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information
- Research variances, error or anomalies in work product, escalating to management if significant
- Comply with federal, state and company policies, procedures and regulations
- Prepare report for management review as directed
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field, or relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Two years of functional accounting experience
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Able to work in team environment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
