About the role
- Build amazing long-term customer relationships by creating and executing profitable win-win business propositions
- Achieve set sales targets to drive long term value for both the customer and CB Group
- Oversee trade channels covering mainly wholesalers and supermarkets in assigned zone
- Execute the annual Operational Plan, developing the assigned territory and grow the team of Sales Reps through close collaboration and daily coaching
- Significant time “on the road”, visiting customers, doing market research and Sales Rep accompaniments, and collaborating with key stakeholders
- Provide regular updates to the Senior Manager - Sales
- Identify growth opportunities within accounts and develop strategies to expand relationships
- Handle customer escalations and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and best practices to identify risks and opportunities
Requirements
- BSc degree in Business Administration, Finance, or relevant field
- At least five (5) years work experience as a Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role in FCMG
- Intimate knowledge of down trade and supermarket channels
- Strong knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
- Proven track record of managing and growing Jamaican Trade channels, ideally with a leading food company
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships
- Competent in the use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
