About the role
- Lead the design and implementation of integrated fundraising campaign planning that positions G-REM to expand and advance existing relationships across all donors to maximize future individual and institutional resources.
- Directs a detailed review of lessons learned from previous campaigns and other relevant initiatives including involvement of staff from across the agency as well as the Board of Directors, Foundation Board and Campaign Steering Committee from previous campaigns.
- Leads efforts to raise campaign funds for strategic agency priorities, as determined by agency and G-REM leadership, using engagement strategies that deepen existing relationships and further develop donor and board opportunity pipelines.
- Develops campaign plans that align to agency’s strategic priorities and vision for engaging U.S. constituents including schedules and activities for all internal and external marketing, communications, and events as well as a feasibility study.
- Acts as lead strategist in the development of a robust calendar of donor events that informs, engages, and inspires CRS donors to increase revenue. Work in collaboration with G-REM Leadership, and the Board Engagement & Giving team on this strategy through:
- Engage all relevant staff on the implementation of all aspects of event planning, ensuring best in class execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
- Minimum 8 years’ of fundraising experience.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience directing the execution of complex, high-profile events.
- Documented experience in the development and implementation of integrated digital marketing, communication, and content/event plans.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Understanding of Catholic Church and its teachings preferred.
- Broad knowledge of and/or experience with fundraising campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting as leader, participant, and facilitator.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to coach a team to increase level of performance.
- Exceptional representational skills to interact with volunteer leadership, high profile donors and internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
