About the role
- Leads the design, development, and support of data and analytics solutions for S&OP processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational needs.
- Partners with business stakeholders, IT teams, and product owners to translate requirements into scalable data models, dashboards, and reporting tools that drive decision-making.
- Analyzes complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, delivering actionable insights to improve planning accuracy and overall supply chain performance.
- Supports continuous improvement of data pipelines, systems, and processes, including troubleshooting issues, enhancing data quality, and implementing best practices across the data lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Machine S&OP, production planning, supply chain planning, or similar functions.
- Act as subject-matter expert for the S&OP planning system and/or data warehouse used to support planning and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with IT teams to manage enhancements, troubleshooting issues, and ensure system stability.
- Define and validate data structures, data flows, and integration logic needed for accurate planning and reporting.
- Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or Equivalent education
- Familiarity with data warehousing and analytics platforms.
- Strong Customer Focus, problem-solving capabilities coupled with risk management understanding.
- Ability to translate complex business processes into structured system requirements or data models.
- Strong analytical mindset and proficiency with planning tools, reporting platforms, or SQL.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Deploying software using CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, etc.
- Working within an Agile framework (ideally Scrum)
