About the role
- Develop and deliver integrated competitive intelligence and market insight analyses to business partners (senior leadership, business divisions, cross‑functional teams, etc.) to support strategic planning and execution.
- Consult for business partners to assess global and regional competitive positions and identify implications, risks, and strategic alternatives to gain/maintain industry leadership.
- Build and maintain a broad network for obtaining and disseminating competitive intelligence.
Requirements
- Engineering, business, accounting, or similar degree (preferably complemented by an MBA or equivalent)
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- Extensive knowledge of Caterpillar’s Power & Energy products and end-markets
- Experience supporting executive-level business partners with strategy development.
