About the role
- Manage engineering staff and activities with an emphasis on achieving organizational goals, professional development, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and continuously improve product and process performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness for all engineering activities and deliverables.
- Provide consistent leadership to follow Cat Robotics Work Standards in support of high quality and high velocity delivery.
- Maintain long term vision and ensure team deliverables align.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Prior experience leading or managing engineering (Software/Hardware/Systems) teams.
- Experience in the Construction or Mining Industry
- Proven experience in Product Development for Track Type Tractors or Motor Graders preferred
- Proven experience in Product Development for Autonomous Vehicles preferred
- Ability to interface with customers to understand business objective and make technical decisions as it relates to project deliverables.
