About the role

  • Partner with dealerships in ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, RI, NY, PA and NJ representing CAT paving products
  • Assist dealers on the forecast, sales strategy planning, sales techniques, and promoting programs that increase sales while maximizing price realization
  • Perform regular sales performance reviews with dealers and ensuring implementation of corrective actions where needed.
  • Act within the business process guidance on review and approval for variance programs and commercial actions.
  • Present products or services for stakeholders, answering any customer questions, and addressing their needs.
  • Translate complex concerns and challenges into clear, value-driven solutions for the customers we serve.
  • Travel Requirement: 50-75% (domestic)

Requirements

  • University degree
  • Experience with progressively growing responsibilities in previous commercial roles involving dealer and/or customer facing interactions
  • Direct customer interaction in a sales or account management role
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar products and services
  • Strong drive and organizational capabilities
  • Industry knowledge of trends and regulatory environment and business development techniques
  • Ability to engage and negotiate with others to achieve win-win solutions
