About the role
- Dealer Collaboration & Alignment: Expertise in ensuring Dealers understand and align with Caterpillar’s vision for customer-facing AI, helping them identify where they should invest and contribute.
- Dealer Adoption: Drive Dealer awareness of Caterpillar developed AI capabilities and Agents that can be adopted by dealers to unlock value in their business.
- Dealer Platforms & Technology: Work with key AI technology partners to ensure that viable and strategically aligned platforms are readily available and feasible for Dealers.
- Dealer Acceleration & Enablement: Help dealers to establish the frameworks and practices applied by Caterpillar’s AI Accelerator.
- Value Realization: Partner with AI Product teams and adoption teams to ensure Caterpillar developed AI capabilities for Dealers are adopted and delivering to the expected value.
Requirements
- Expertise in product management, ideally with AI or data-driven products (typically 5+ years).
- Deep understanding of machine learning workflows, model evaluation, and AI system limitations.
- Experience working with dealer networks or customer-facing platforms.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with tools like OpenAI, Hugging Face, AWS SageMaker, or MLFlow is a plus.
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Background in UX for AI systems or human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Awareness of AI ethics, explainability, and responsible AI practices.
- Experience with Gen AI, recommendation systems, or AI assistants.
