About the role

  • Lead the configuration, administration, and continuous optimization of the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management) to support business needs.
  • Design and maintain Atlassian workflows, custom fields, permissions, schemes, and automation rules to meet business requirements.
  • Act as the primary escalation point and internal expert for Atlassian-related issues and enhancements.
  • Manage and support Windows & Mac devices, ensuring performance, security and reliability.
  • Oversee asset management and full device lifecycle (procurement to decommissioning).
  • Manage system access, patching, and endpoint security in line with policies and compliance standards.
  • Deliver efficient, high-quality IT service desk support with timely resolution of incidents and requests.
  • Monitor service desk performance against SLA and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote IT and Atlassian best practices across the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to automate IT and Atlassian processes using tools like n8n and native Atlassian automation.
  • Streamline repetitive tasks to reduce manual effort and improve service delivery.
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for systems, workflows , and configurations.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Atlassian products, including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management (JSM), with a solid understanding of best practices and configurations.
  • Self-motivated team player with a positive, service-oriented mindset and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems and service desk operations, with proven experience supporting end users in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, meeting deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Quick learner with strong adaptability, able to thrive in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT operations, including administration and support of the Atlassian suite.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking, with a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and service providers is highly desirable.
  • Experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., n8n) and system integrations be a plus.
