About the role

  • Architect and build scalable full-stack applications using Django, React, and PostgreSQL.
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure, well-documented APIs.
  • Own backend business logic and frontend implementations for complex features.
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability in production.
  • Integrate machine learning models into production web applications.
  • Collaborate with data science teams to operationalize AI-driven features.
  • Deploy, monitor, and support ML models using AWS services.
  • Maintain real-time or batch inference pipelines.
  • Deploy and manage applications using AWS services including Lambda, ECS, and SageMaker.
  • Monitor production systems and troubleshoot reliability or performance issues.
  • Improve cloud architecture and deployment workflows as the platform scales.
  • Enforce best practices around security, observability, and uptime.
  • Lead code reviews and uphold engineering best practices.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers across frontend and backend work.
  • Participate in architectural planning and technical decision-making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally during EST working hours.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience using Python/Django and React.
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL database design and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience deploying machine learning models in production environments.
  • Proficiency with AWS for web and AI application deployment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and own complex systems end to end.
  • Availability to work consistently during EST business hours.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience with MLOps practices such as model versioning and inference pipelines. (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling. (Preferred)
  • Strong understanding of system scalability, security, and performance optimization. (Preferred)
  • Experience in high-ownership, startup, or fast-scaling engineering environments. (Preferred)
  • Tools Proficiency must-haves: Python, Django, React, HTML5, CSS, PostgreSQL, AWS, AWS Lambda, AWS ECS, AWS SageMaker.
  • Tools Proficiency nice-to-haves: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, MLOps tooling.
