About the role
- Lead and manage multiple strategic initiatives across various retail brands and business functions, from problem definition through execution.
- Establish, build and maintain rapport with executive team to foster strong partnerships.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop short and long-term strategic plans.
- Leverage insights and remain current on market, competitor, and financial news, strategies and analysis to support data-driven recommendations.
- Translate complex business challenges into actionable strategies and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with teams including Marketing, Finance, Merchandising, and Operations, while guiding business unit leaders to maintain focus on key resources and priorities.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and strategic updates.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging opportunities to inform strategic direction, while reassessing established practices and encouraging internal and external benchmarking to drive continuous improvement.
- Support business case development, growth driving strategies and post-merger integration planning as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting (e.g., top-tier firm), project management, or a related field.
- Experience working in or with retail or consumer-facing industries is highly desirable.
- Strong foundation in structured problem-solving, stakeholder management, and executive communication.
- Proven ability to cross functionally collaborate and manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated agility and adaptability in managing shifting priorities and cross-brand initiatives.
- Proficient and highly developed user of Microsoft Office suite programs required.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and build positive relationships cross-functionally.
