About the role

  • Overall responsibility for our food & beverage locations at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER).
  • Strategic management and development of location-specific business strategies.
  • Budget planning and performance management.

  • Ensure smooth operations while complying with all legal requirements and company standards.
  • Close cooperation with HR, Finance and other central functions.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in a comparable role — e.g., as General Manager, Multi-Unit Manager or Site Manager in chain restaurants, retail, or the service sector.
  • Experienced in managing complex operational structures and leading multiple teams simultaneously.
  • Degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in budget planning, controlling and process optimization.
  • Comfortable using numbers as a tool for strategic decision-making.
  • Entrepreneurial thinker with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Able to recognize financial interrelationships as well as operational challenges and new business opportunities.
  • Sets priorities and makes decisions promptly and transparently.
  • Leadership style that is structured, empathetic and motivating.
  • Experience collaborating with central interfaces such as HR, Purchasing, Quality Management or Finance.
