About the role

  • You will take responsibility for establishing and further developing our Business Continuity Management (BCM).
  • Produce BCM documentation (policies, manuals, processes, etc.) and develop concepts and plans to improve and embed BCM.
  • Organize information sessions and trainings for business units.
  • Support the execution of Business Impact Analyses to identify critical processes and determine their maximum allowable downtime.
  • Develop business continuity, recovery, and restart plans in close and guiding collaboration with the business units (especially IT).
  • Design BCM scenarios and apply them to business continuity plans.
  • Establish a crisis management team process and communications planning as the ICT Communications Manager.
  • Design a multi-year BCM testing plan and act as the initiator and leader of BCM tests.

Requirements

  • At least 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in BCM, risk management, or internal controls, ideally in the financial sector, a regulated tech environment, or consulting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in BCM (e.g., MaRisk, DORA, BSI 200-4).
  • Fluent German and English (business proficiency).
