Technical Product Manager

• Contribute to the roadmap for core platform services such as APIs, data infrastructure, identity, and integration frameworks.
• Translate platform strategy into clear product requirements and user stories with measurable success criteria.
• Partner with engineering to prioritize backlog items, refine requirements, and support sprint planning and delivery.
• Ensure platform capabilities align with enterprise scalability, security, and reliability standards.
• Collaborate with product teams across Caseware to identify shared capability needs and integration opportunities.
• Serve as the connector between engineering and vertical product teams, ensuring smooth delivery and adoption of platform services.
• Participate in technical design discussions, clarifying trade-offs and dependencies to keep execution on track.
• Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and release notes for shared platform capabilities.
• Monitor key platform metrics such as performance, reliability, and adoption, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Manage risks and dependencies across teams, ensuring deliverables are met with high quality.
• Support backlog prioritization, dependency tracking, and sprint reviews.
• Contribute to internal enablement assets such as templates, integration guides, and platform release documentation.
• Learn from and collaborate with senior and principal PMs to build your platform product management expertise.

Technical Product Manager – Core Platform

• Serve as the primary U.S. tax subject matter expert for Caseware's tax product initiatives.
• Provide guidance on U.S. federal and state tax regulations, compliance requirements, and tax preparation workflows.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to define and prioritize product requirements and enhancements.
• Review product designs, workflows, calculations, and tax content to ensure technical accuracy.
• Assist in translating tax legislation and regulatory changes into software requirements and product updates.
• Validate tax-related functionality and support quality assurance activities.
• Provide input on tax forms, schedules, calculations, diagnostics, and compliance processes.
• Help identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvements within the tax preparation process.
• Advise product teams on emerging developments that may impact customers or product functionality.
• Participate in product planning discussions and strategic initiatives.
• Support the development of product documentation, training materials, and customer-facing guidance as needed.
• Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Customer Success, and Support teams.

Full-stack Engineer

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for Caseware's web-based SaaS products.
• Execute and coordinate functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product specialists to refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and improve testability.
• Analyze requirements and technical designs to identify risk areas and critical test scenarios.
• Investigate, document, and track defects, providing clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.
• Continuously improve test coverage, test reliability, and overall QA processes.

Data Engineer

• Lead enterprise data platform architecture and modernization: Define and execute the technical strategy for a scalable, AI-Ready, enterprise data platform, including Sherlock modernization, lakehouse architecture, data products, interoperability, and the patterns and capabilities needed to support AI-Ready use cases.
• Establish data architecture patterns: Create and evolve reference architectures, modeling standards, guardrails, and best practices for our foundational data platform, including Iceberg-based lakehouse architecture, medallion patterns, ingestion, normalization, data quality, and interoperability.
• Use and mentor teams on AI-assisted workflows: Apply AI tools in daily architecture, analysis, documentation, and prototyping, and mentor teams in responsible usage that improves design quality, data discovery, and delivery effectiveness.
• Oversee key platform projects: Contribute heavily to AI-Ready data platform initiatives and cross-product data architecture improvements, including data layer re-architecture for our SE and Sherlock products, schema modernization, and data model evolution.
• Mentor and lead: Guide teams in delivering projects, fostering a mentorship culture, and ensuring adherence to high standards in data engineering practices, data modeling, data quality, and platform architecture.
• Drive best practices: Collaborate with R&D groups to implement best practices for making trusted, AI-Ready, and securely interoperable data proucts, including data contracts, ingestion and normalization standards, and improving consistency and reuse across products.
• Partner on data governance and security: Work with Security and product teams to define data classification, retention, tenant isolation, and access controls for datasets and data products.
• Enable adoption through paved roads: Provide reference implementations and blueprints that make it easy for teams to produce data products and integrate with the data platform.
• Architect for data observability: Define and implement standards for data quality, lineage and traceability, data dictionary controls, freshness monitoring, and alerting, so data products are reliable and audit-ready.

Principal Software Developer – Data Architect
