About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for Caseware's web-based SaaS products.
- Execute and coordinate functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Collaborate with developers and product specialists to refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and improve testability.
- Analyze requirements and technical designs to identify risk areas and critical test scenarios.
- Investigate, document, and track defects, providing clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.
- Continuously improve test coverage, test reliability, and overall QA processes.
- Mentor and coach junior SDET team members.
- Promote and advocate quality best practices across the engineering organization.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Mid-level experience (3–5 years) in QA, Test Automation, or SDET roles.
- Proven experience testing complex web applications, preferably SaaS products.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Hands-on experience with modern test automation tools and frameworks, specifically **Cypress**.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to write clear, maintainable, and well-structured test cases and automation code.
- Comfortable working within cross-functional, international teams.
- Strong coordination skills and the ability to foster a quality-first mindset across the team.
- Professional proficiency in both **Dutch and English**.
