Accounts Payable

• Casa Central’s School Age Program (SAP) provides out-of-school time enrichment programming for children ages 5-12 and their families.
• The Program Coordinator is responsible for orienting, training, coaching, and monitoring staff, volunteers, and interns; overseeing the daily schedule; supporting lesson planning; responding to child and family needs; and ensuring timely and accurate classroom documentation.
• The SAP Coordinator ensures the development of strategies for the active recruitment, eligibility screening, enrollment, and engagement of children and families.
• The coordinator provides support to the Director of the School-Age Program to ensure that the program is in full compliance with stakeholder expectations.

• Casa Central’s Violence Prevention & Intervention (VPI) program provides trauma-informed therapy and support services.
• The Program Assistant provides administrative, clerical, and general program support to staff.
• Approve time sheets and ensure compliance with agency and funder guidelines.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on services and program activities.
• Assist program staff with output of materials and coordinating activities and meetings.
• Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring organization.
• Participate in program staff or team meetings including trainings and consultations.
• Perform timely intakes of clients and implement crisis intervention strategies.
• Nurture positive working relationships with agency staff and stakeholders.
• Support program outreach and marketing efforts.
• Ensure confidentiality guidelines and reporting of any abuse suspicions are followed.

Accountant

• The Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Purchasing Accountant is responsible for performing accounting, purchasing, and clerical functions to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
• This role manages the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice processing, payment execution, collections, and reconciliations, and supports purchasing activities to ensure proper authorization, documentation, and cost control.
• The position supports month-end close activities by preparing journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies.
• The role also assists with audit preparation by maintaining organized records and providing required documentation.
• In addition, the role supports purchasing operations, including processing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, verifying receipt of goods and services, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
