About the role

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase features, benefits, and advantages.
  • Create and deliver compelling technical proposals and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including answering technical questions and resolving issues.
  • Engage with engineering customers to gather technical requirements and assess their needs, and position Automated Logic as the basis of design.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure that solutions are feasible and meet customer expectations.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, product developments, and competitive landscape within the market.
  • Provide feedback to product management and development teams based on customer insights and market demands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ Years of Experience developing, selling, or engineering building automation systems or High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years experience developing, selling, or engineering building automation systems
  • Traveling up to 75% locally.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably either Mechanical, Electrical or Controls Engineering.
  • BAS or Controls experience in the consulting engineering space.
  • 3+ Years Design skills with Engineering of BAS Systems.
  • 10+ years of experience developing and engineering building automation systems.
  • CEM, LEED AP, and WELL AP accreditation or PE certification.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, lighting, other building systems, and IT networking/Integration – both in design and maintainability.
  • Ability to work within a fast-moving engineering design team.
