About the role
- Develop Software Asset Management
- Set up and further develop a group-wide Software Asset Management
- Develop and maintain policies, processes and standards for license management
- Manage costs and usage
- Analyze licensing models and license volumes
- Identify opportunities to optimize software costs
- Ensure compliance in the handling of software licenses
- Act as the interface between IT, Procurement and business units
- Advise internal stakeholders on licensing models and license strategies
- Support contract reviews and license negotiations
- Provide transparency and reporting
- Establish structured license and usage reporting
- Derive recommendations for action for management and IT
- Support the selection and implementation of a Software Asset Management tool
- Establish sustainable processes for license administration and compliance
Requirements
- Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
- Experience in license management, Software Asset Management or IT procurement
- Knowledge of common licensing models (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, etc.)
- Ideally experience with SAM tools or ITSM systems
- Analytical and structured way of working
- Very good German and good English skills.
