Responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing complex datasets to generate actionable insights, with a specialized focus on law firm spend, rate structures, pricing agreements, and performance management.
Partners with Law leadership, Legal Operations, Finance, and law firm partners to support data-driven decisions related to engagements, billing rate negotiations, RFPs, AFAs, and firm selection.
Builds and maintains detailed reports and dashboards, ensures data accuracy and integrity, and presents findings to stakeholders.
Captures, processes, prepares, and analyzes complex datasets to extract significant insights and conduct advanced spend analytics.
Cultivates and maintains positive partner relationships to understand reporting and analysis needs.
Designs and implements data visualizations to communicate complex data clearly.
Identifies opportunities to improve data collection and reporting processes and implements methodologies for data management.

Requirements

Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience.
Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Business, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated experience working with law firms and/or legal support vendors.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, or similar).
Demonstrated ability to identify, present, and convey findings to leadership and stakeholders.
