About the role
- Oversee technical support for the extrusion area in the plant
- Lead a production team that optimizes the performance of existing extrusion assets
- Supervise monitoring and reporting of the technical performance of (Extrusion) assets and identification of gaps and practical improvement solutions
- Ensure ongoing implementation of improvement projects, plans, technics, tools and quality standards across sites
- Lead a team in charge of delivering manufacturing technology expertise to plants
- Oversee a team in charge of risk management of specific manufacturing technologies
- Act as a resource for plants on current safety standards
- Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Six Sigma Certification preferred
- Trained in statistically supported decision making or data analytics along with knowledge of advanced statistical software tools
- Two years of supervisory experience
