About the role
- Apply engineering techniques to assist in the improvement of manufacturing processes and products
- Provide technical support, operations experience, continuous improvement and project management skills in a plant support capacity
- Collect and analyze moderately complex operational data and trends
- Develop recommendations and plans to improve the performance and reporting process of manufacturing equipment and processes
- Partner with process engineers to analyze capital expenditures and project designs
- Serve as point of contact and interface with personnel to set priorities, monitor safety and improve skills
- Review and recommend manufacturing equipment and processes designed to be efficient, cost-effective, and to promote quality and reliability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering field
- Possesses working knowledge of engineering subject matter
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (preferred)
- Strong data analysis capabilities including continuous improvement experience or certifications
- Understanding of PI (data historian), ACAD (auto CAD), MS Project
- Experience implementing projects
