About the role
- Supervise area operations, ensuring activities comply with established policies and procedures
- Manage the department's specific budget, oversee purchase orders, and ensure proper invoicing of acquisitions
- Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions for direct reports
- Plan and coordinate daily production line activities, ensuring production targets are met
- Monitor efficient use of raw materials
- Monitor equipment performance and request maintenance work as needed
- Promote a safe and collaborative work environment
- Participate in alignment and strategic planning meetings
Requirements
- Experience managing production processes in animal nutrition
- Strong experience in people management
- Knowledge of or familiarity with operational stability methodologies, such as Stable Ops
- Experience with process commissioning (animal nutrition)
- Knowledge of implementing tools for standardizing manual processes
- Experience in cost management
