About the role
- Oversee Maintenance Operations: Develop vision needed to lead and oversee maintenance support to factory operational equipment.
- Maintenance Strategy: Ensure implementation of Asset Maintenance Management as Factory Maintenance System.
- Drive TPM practices, focusing on PM and AM pillars to enhance equipment reliability.
- Develop and implement best-practice maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance operational performance by implementing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Team Leadership and Supervision: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing maintenance team.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose technical problems and carry out timely repairs or coordinate with external contractors when necessary.
- Budget and Cost Control: Develop the most cost-effective repair strategies and manage maintenance spending responsibilities.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Vendor and Contractor Management: Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for maintenance services and equipment procurement.
- Facility Management: Maintain the overall condition of the physical infrastructure, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general building upkeep.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement innovative technical ideas and solutions for improved production efficiencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in maintenance or engineering roles, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial position of food & beverage industries.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems, including PLC, automation, and facility maintenance.
- Experience in implementing and managing preventive/predictive maintenance programs and using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS, SAP).
- Proven ability to lead and motivate maintenance teams, manage performance, and develop staff.
- Problem-Solving Skills.
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and decision-making skills under time pressure.
- Solid understanding of safety standards, regulations, and procedures in industrial or facility environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal departments, contractors, and vendors.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage maintenance projects and budgets effectively.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
