About the role
- Provide subject matter experience in the efficient movement and transportation of materials and products across the Refrigerated truck mode.
- Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Rely on up to date knowledge of industry market practices and trends to find practical and cost-effective solutions for freight sourcing.
- Assist in negotiating freight prices and contract terms for customers.
- Analyze moderately complex transportation operations practices to resolve process and cost improvement opportunities.
- Foster key stakeholder relationships for all freight sourcing activities.
- Provide industry market updates related to transportation activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
